Seat Leon Common issues

November 19, 2010 :: Posted by - Ian :: Category - Cars

I have had my Seat Leon just over 2 years and up to now i have had no issues well just one but will talk about that shortly. The drive is smooth and the speed is pretty impressive although it is a six gear Turbo Sport.

Back to the only issue i have had with the car is that when it starts up it occasionally makes a rattling noise i have done some research and it seems to be a common issue however it seems the dealership try to ignore this issue as i have took it in several times and they have told me it is fine.

Sebastian Vettel Becomes F1 Champion

November 15, 2010 :: Posted by - Ian :: Category - Formula One

Sebastian Vettel became the youngest Formula 1 champion in history with victory in the final race of the season.

Sebastian Vettel led from start to finish in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to be crowned the 2010 Formula One world champion.

The German had to fend off a fast-starting Lewis Hamilton into the first turn – the Briton needing a win and a miracle to reclaim the title – but came out in front, and was able to manage a comfortable advantage as the Red Bull RB6 again proved to be the car to have.

The final margin was four points, with Alonso ending the season ten ahead of Webber, who only just survived being overhauled by Hamilton. The Spaniard vowed to bounce back next season having won as many races as his young rival but, having had a taste of top spot, Vettel will be a hard man to beat.

Personalised car calendars

October 28, 2010 :: Posted by - Ian :: Category - Cars

Many people struggle to think of Christmas presents for their teenagers. When asked what they want, teenagers often either say “money” or if you really unlucky, will shrug their shoulders and utter something undecipherable.

Everyone has a teenager in their family that they have to buy a present for, so instead of putting a crisp £10 note in a Christmas card, why not have a look at the different calendars available for 2011. Calendars are a Christmas favourite and you can even personalise them so they fit in with your teenager’s interests or hobbies.

If you have a teenager who is mad about cars, you can look at the different car calendars that are available. From Ferrari calendars to BMW calendars, there is loads of choice on offer. If you do a search online there are calendar sites where you can buy personalised calendars so you can scour the net and choose pictures of your favourite cars for every month of the year. You can then either design the car calendar yourself or you can get the company to do it for you.

If your teenager is a car enthusiast, they may already have picture of themselves standing next to one of their favourite cars. All these pictures can also be included on the calendar.

So don’t get revved up by your stroppy teenager, buy them something that they will use – a car calendar.

Mercedes SLS

September 20, 2010 :: Posted by - Ian :: Category - General

The new Mercedes SLS has seen a lot of attention and hype about its recent release. A few weeks ago I saw a picture of Manchester United defender Patrice Evra getting into one. If anyone has the money to buy one it would be a Premier League footballer, and it seems that the Frenchman likes to travel in style. In and around his Cheshire home he will be zipping around the corners, bends and straights at speeds of over 150mph (unless it isn’t safe to do so of course)…

It is only a couple of years since Ronaldo crashed his Ferrari near his home in Alderley Edge.

The Range Rover

September 16, 2010 :: Posted by - Ian :: Category - General

Right before I say anything else I appreciate the brilliance in design, build, comfort, drive, handling and everything else that comes with the Range Rover. It serves a purpose and does a job. I also get why people buy them – safety being one of the main reasons. They are extremely thirsty however, huge ugly things out there on the roads that just annoy me. When I’m behind one I can’t see a thing infront and when one is behind me I can’t see a thing behind. They are just a nightmare, a hate people who drive them and I hate them on the roads. People who drive them think they make you better and more important on the road, well I am sorry but you are not.
